Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Reservations

All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed once payment or deposit has been successfully received.

Guests are encouraged to book in advance, especially during the high season, as availability is limited and tours may sell out quickly.

Split Boats reserves the right to refuse any booking that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

2. Participation Requirements

For safety reasons, participation in our tours is subject to the following conditions:

* Children under 3 years old are not permitted onboard.
* Pregnant women are not permitted to participate.
* Guests suffering from serious back problems, neck problems, recent injuries, or recent surgical operations should not participate.
* Guests with allergies or specific medical conditions must bring their own medication and ensure they are fit to travel.
* All guests participate at their own risk and must follow the skipper’s instructions at all times.

The captain reserves the right to refuse boarding to any guest whose condition may compromise their own safety or the safety of others. In such cases, no refund shall be due unless otherwise determined by Split Boats.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

Customers wishing to cancel their reservation must contact Split Boats as soon as possible.

Refunds will only be granted in the following circumstances:

Medical Reasons

A full refund may be granted if:

* The cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before departure; and
* A valid medical certificate is provided as proof.

Requests submitted without supporting documentation may not be eligible for a refund.

4. Cancellation by Split Boats

Split Boats reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a tour due to circumstances beyond its control.

These include, but are not limited to:

Weather Conditions

If weather or sea conditions are considered unsafe by the captain, the tour may be cancelled or postponed.

Technical Issues

In the event of an unexpected technical problem affecting the boat’s safety or operation.

Safety Decisions

The captain may cancel a departure if conditions are considered unsafe for passengers or crew.

In any of the above cases, customers will be offered either:

* A full refund; or
* An alternative departure date, subject to availability.

5. No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive at the designated departure point on time will be considered a “no-show.”

No refunds will be issued for missed departures due to late arrival or failure to attend the tour.

Guests are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

6. Responsibility

All guests participate voluntarily and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with maritime activities.

Split Boats shall not be held responsible for:

* Personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during the tour;
* Injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions;
* Events beyond its reasonable control, including weather conditions or force majeure events.
